Who walks who when you walk your dog?

Can you imagine walking down the street with your dog by your side? Let me introduce you to the Canny Collar…it will make walking your dog a pleasure.

The Canny Collar originated in the UK and last year I attended the APDT conference and discovered these collars. They work on a simple “pressure and release” system that is controlled by your dog. This training is based on positive reinforcement and reward for good walking. Your dog will quickly learn to stay by your side and walk gently than to speed ahead and risk choking and panting.

Will my dog have to wear this collar forever? It is very easy to wean your dog off this collar. The design is such that you are able to drop the slip line off of the nose for short periods of time to see how he is progressing.
